Board Announces President & CEO’s Forthcoming Retirement

After 15 years of dedicated service to our association, the Board of Directors of the Regina Hotel Association (RHA) is announcing the forthcoming retirement of Tracy Fahlman, our President & CEO.

Tracy has been an integral part of our organization, demonstrating exceptional leadership, integrity, and commitment throughout her tenure. Under her guidance, the Regina Hotel Association has achieved remarkable milestones, fostering growth and prosperity for our members and the tourism industry in Regina.

Since joining the RHA in 2009, Tracy forged the RHA into a prominent leadership role in event business development, earning the trust and admiration of members and colleagues alike. Throughout the course of her tenure, the RHA championed over 1.1 million hotel room night sales by leading strategic investments in over 350 organizations to host more than 700 events in our city, an estimated 377% return on investment to member hotels. Tracy further spearheaded the creation of our capital infrastructure fund that has provided a 400% return to our members’ investment, propelling the city’s status as a world-class event hosting destination.

Tracy’s strategic vision and passion has left an indelible mark on our organization. Her dedication to excellence, coupled with her ability to navigate challenges, has been instrumental in shaping the RHA into the successful entity it is today.

The Board expresses its heartfelt gratitude for her unwavering dedication and countless contributions to protecting and advancing the interests of Regina’s destination hotels. Her legacy will undoubtedly endure.

This planned retirement has been in the works for over two years. Tracy will remain in her role as President & CEO until December 31, 2024. The Board has retained an executive search firm with plans to have our new President & CEO in place before the end of the year.
