REGINA (November 25, 2023) — U SPORTS, the governing body for university sports in Canada, announced today that the University of Regina has been selected to host the 2025 Vanier Cup, Canada’s national university football championship. The successful bid resulted from the collaborative efforts of the University, the City of Regina, Tourism Saskatchewan, Tourism Regina, the Regina Rams Football Club, and the Regina Hotel Association. This partnership underscores Regina’s strong commitment to sports and its ability to host major national events, reinforcing its reputation as a football city.
