Regina Named Host City for 2026 Volleyball Canada Cup
Volleyball Canada has announced that Regina, Saskatchewan will host the 2026 Volleyball Canada Cup from July 21 to July 26, 2026, bringing elite provincial and territorial volleyball competition to the city’s Bunge International Trade Centre. The Canada Cup showcases Canada’s next generation of high-performance volleyball talent in a championship-style event and is a key part of Volleyball Canada’s athlete development pathway.
Regina Awarded the 114th Grey Cup
The Canadian Football League has officially awarded the 114th Grey Cup to Saskatchewan, bringing Canada’s biggest annual sporting event to Regina in 2027.
Regina to Host the 2026 Canadian Gymnaestrada
Gymnastics Canada, in partnership with Gymnastics Saskatchewan and the Regina Hotel Association, has announced that Regina will host the 2026 Canadian Gymnaestrada from June 30 to July 4, 2026. This marks the first time Saskatchewan will welcome the national event, with more than 1,000 participants expected from across Canada.
Regina to Host National Aboriginal Hockey Championships in 2026
The Aboriginal Sport Circle announced Regina, Saskatchewan as the host city for the 23rd National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC). The NAHC will take place May 3-9, 2026, marking the first time the Championships have returned to Saskatchewan since 2012.
Daily Flights to Denver Coming to Regina in 2025
Regina Airport Authority (RAA) announced a significant enhancement to the region’s air travel options as travellers from Regina will now enjoy a new airline with a daily non-stop flight to Denver, Colorado through United Express, operated by SkyWest Airlines, starting in May 2025.
